Uh-oh, How Do I Plan Outfits?

Hey there, so did you read my first blog post and find a photographer? Awesome! But now you are stressing over something new. WHAT DO WE WEAR?

Have no fear, I am here to help! The easiest way to do this is choose a color palette. It won't look very nice if you're wearing a dark purple and a child is in bright orange. A good internet or Pinterest scroll can help you out! Look for a color palette that matches the session. I will include some examples below. Once you choose your palette, its much easier from there. Avoid anything with large logos and characters. No graphic t-s, no paw patrol sweat pants, (even though we all know that show is great!). Keep it simple. Next I recommend mixing in some texture and NON-BUSY patterns. Remember, we want you to be the star of the show, not the floral dress shirt! Once you find things that you think will work- try. them. on! Is everyone comfortable? Does everything fit? Plan this ahead of time. Nothing is worse than waiting until the day before and adding some extra stress to your life! Personally, I prefer a dark or neutral palette as I find them most flattering to skin tones. If you are ever hesitant on if your outfits will work, reach out to your photographer! Many photographers including myself are more than happy to help you as we want this to be a fun and stress free experience! Below I will attach some palettes that I love! I hope this helps.
